While acting as a uterine toner and hormone balancer, this gentle and earthy herb is able to regulate and lighten menstruation, reduce cramps, aid fertility, ease pregnancy and labor, boost milk supply in postpartum, and even relieve discomforts of menopause.
Filled with a plethora of vitamins and minerals, whole leaf red raspberry leaf tea is not only advantageous to reproductive organs but can also balance blood sugar, benefit digestion, reduce inflammation, flush out toxins, and relieve stress.
All of this is just a part of why we've chosen to make red raspberry leaf the main ingredient in our Women's Wellness Teas, but here are a few reasons to love our other amazing ingredients as well.
Nettle leaf has been used for hundreds of years to treat painful muscles and joints, eczema, arthritis, gout, acne, allergies, and anemia. Nettle contains prostaglandins which have properties that support resistance to redness and irritation. It also contains high levels of protein, calcium, phosphorus, iron, magnesium, and beta-carotene and high amounts of the vitamins A, C, D, and B complex.
Alfalfa leaf was named from the Arabic phrase, al-fac-facah, meaning “father of all foods" and is extremely nutritious. The extensive root system allows the plant to absorb a high level of nutrients from the soil. Alfalfa leaf contains essential vitamins including the entire spectrum of B-vitamins, A, D, E and K and is a source of iron, niacin, biotin, folic acid, calcium, magnesium, phosphorous and potassium. It is a source of chlorophyll, which has a very high nutrient content. Compared to other plants, alfalfa leaf is also very high in protein and amino acids.
This super food is often used a dietary or nutritional supplement for many benefits, including supporting healthy circulation, helping alleviate allergies, aiding in blood clotting, improving digestion, boosting the immune system, detoxification, lowering cholesterol, treating anemia, alleviating all forms of arthritis, easing morning sickness, and as a support for breastfeeding. Because it is a great source of Vitamin K, it also is used to help improve Baby’s Vitamin K levels at birth if mom drinks during pregnancy.
Peppermint leaf not only provides great flavor, but it contains antioxidants, vitamin A and C, iron, potassium, and is widely cherished for its energizing and blood cleansing effects and digestion support benefits.
Strawberry leaf is known for being super high in antioxidants, which are so important for overall health, elimination of toxins, and disease prevention and also contains trace minerals and vitamins, such as iron, calcium and vitamin C, that are important for the health and maintenance of many different body functions.
