Are Femallay Vaginal Melts Safe? All Your Questions Answered!

Are Femallay Vaginal Melts Safe? All Your Questions Answered!

We’ve been blown away by recent interest and incredible response to our vaginal melts! From the viral video reviews to the soaring increase in demand, we’ve seen some pretty fantastic testimonials — we love that this amazing product is gaining ground in the spotlight.

Here you'll find answers to many of your pressing questions, but feel free to shoot us a message if we can help with anything else!

The Ultimate Guide to Femallay's Vaginal Melts

Femallay created these popular melts to provide a natural option for women suffering from vaginal pain and/or dryness due to stress, breastfeeding, menopause, or other non-illness related issues.

We also wanted to help improve intimacy in a fun way without using chemical-laden lubricants. Instead of using products that can throw your pH balance off, we created an alternative — with some added perks!

While a woman’s healthy vaginal scent is completely fine, a woman should be able to choose a luxurious moisturizer that gives her extra lubrication (and perhaps a slightly decadent scent and flavor) to boost sexual pleasure with her spouse. When developing the product, we paid careful attention to the ingredients to ensure that they first, support the body’s chemical balance, and second, are enjoyable to use.

Our goal will always be to equip women with the natural choices they need to live well.

Q: Are Femallay vaginal suppository melts healthy and safe?

A: We're glad you're asking!

If you are not pregnant or allergic to nuts, including coconut oil, you should be able to use vaginal melts safely. Our product is a natural, ph-balanced, and hormone-free alternative to traditional lubes and over-the-counter treatments!

While using tea tree and boric acid vaginal suppositories is quite common, we’ve never seen such a dedicated reaction to suppositories like we have over the past few months! People unfamilar with natural products have raised concerns about the videos that went viral and have unfortunately spread some misinformation.

If you have unusual vaginal odor, bacterial vaginosis (bv) symptoms, or have other personal care needs, please consult with your trusted healthcare provider.

Our variety of melts contain 100% organic and non-GMO ingredients (natural butters and oils) which can include —

  • Illipe Nut Butter
  • Cocoa Butter
  • Palm Kernel Oil
  • Apricot Oil
  • Coconut Oil
  • Essential Oils
  • Sea Buckthorn Berry Oil
  • Jojoba Seed Oil
  • Sunflower Vitamin E Oil
  • Organic Flavor Oil
  • Stevia Leaf Extract
  • And Broad-Spectrum Hemp

We do not recommend using melts during pregnancy. Oils can soften the cervix while pregnant, so it is not advisable to insert oil-based products until the baby is born.

Are you concerned about a nut allergy? While melts contain cocoa butter, coconut oil, and illipe butter, which could be an allergy trigger for someone with tree nut allergies, many individuals with peanut allergies can use our products. If you’re concerned about an allergy or sensitivity, review the user guide that comes with the melts for instruction on how to do a skin patch test before inserting.

And if you are still unsure about using the product, feel free to consult with your healthcare provider if you have any concerns about discharge, scents, or other issues. Discontinue use immediately if you experience any kind of uncomfortable reaction.

Q: Are Femallay melts recommended by gynecologists?

A: Our vaginal melts are among the top natural products recommended by holistic wellness professionals and OB GYNs for hormone-free relief of vaginal dryness.

We've had many customers referred to us over the years by their gynecologists. Additionally, we’ve had a number of chiropractic and holistic wellness professionals reach out with an interest in carrying our products in their practice. Several of these customers, have reported that our vaginal melts have literally changed their lives, which is truly what it's all about for us!

Q: What are the differences between the melts?

A: We offer three kinds of vaginal melts (vaginal suppositories) that can be used in a variety of ways. They are cleansing, hemp, and moisturizing (some flavored options, and a scent-free one too).

Our melts can help you —

  • Maintain vaginal hygiene. You can occasionally use melts to freshen your lady garden, like you would a vaginal wash. Use cleansing suppositories for this use! If you struggle with odors, this is a sign of a pH imbalance and should be treated first with natural, gentle cleansing. Our flavored melts are not designed to mask odors caused by imbalance, but rather to naturally enhance your vaginal moisture and fun.

  • Restore vaginal pH balance and relieve vaginal itching, dryness, and odors. After having sex, you may feel uncomfortable (if you were too dry) or get your pH balance thrown off. Our ingredients keep industry-standard chemicals away and give you the relief you need at that moment. As we said before, if you’re having unusual discharge, scents, or pain, please consult your healthcare professional and opt for healthy solutions to bring your body back in balance.

  • Relieve vaginal dryness or irritations. As women go through different life stages, we go through changes that can leave us feeling uncomfortable all day. We hope to help alleviate that issue by providing the right skin nourishing solution — where there previously has been no natural alternatives.

  • Tea tree (melaleuca) essential oil for treating bacteria. Tea tree oil has long been used to treat vaginal bacteria overgrowth. Use these when you need them, limit sugars in your diet, and take other measures to support your gut health to protect your body from yeast overgrowth. You are the best advocate for your own body and know when and if you can use this remedy or need professional healthcare advice.

  • Our organic hemp melts can help all women, particularly when you’re going through menopause or struggling with vaginal period pain. These melts have a earthy hemp scent and can reduce tension and uncomfortable PMS and menopause symptoms, targeting vaginal inflammation, dryness, irritation, and itchiness along with enhancing a sense of calm and even increasing libido.

  • And finally, our flavored melts. If this is your first time reading about our melts, they do exactly what you’re thinking — they make your vagina smell and taste great. We created them to enhance your natural moisture in a fun and healthy way.

Q: I have really sensitive skin. Can I use the melts?

A: We suggest that you try the Original Vitamin E Vaginal Moisturizing Suppository Melts, Unscented and Unflavored, or the Organic Hemp Melts if you are looking for the most hypoallergenic solution (they still contain tree nuts, for those concerned about allergies). All of our melts are hormone-free, soy-free, gluten-free, glycerin-free, and paraben-free.

Q: Are the vaginal melts pH-balanced?

A: Yes! We design our products with women's health and happiness in mind. All our melts contain premium organic ingredients that are naturally pH-balanced.

Q: Are the flavored vaginal melts designed to mask foul vaginal odors?

A: In cases of unusual or foul vaginal odors, itching, or irritation, you may be dealing with an imbalance or yeast infection. Our organically scented and flavored vaginal moisturizing suppositories are not designed to mask vaginal odors or treat infections,  and we do not recommend using them for that purpose. You may want to give one of our cleansing suppositories a try to help alleviate odors, itching, and imbalances - and enjoy the flavored melts as a fun way to promote vaginal moisture once things are back in balance!

Q: Can I use a melt while my partner is using a condom?

A: Oils can cause a latex condom to weaken or break. So avoid using the melts with a latex condom if you are trying to prevent pregnancy. Polyurethane condoms, however, are OK to use with oil-based products.

Q: Are they edible?

A: While we don’t recommend eating them like they're candy, as that could cause digestive upset, every ingredient in our flavored melts is safe to ingest in small amounts and commonly found in many foods you buy at the grocery store. So have some fun!

Q: Do you ship to where I live?

A: Yes, we ship worldwide!

Q: What other kinds of products do you offer?

A: In addition to our popular vaginal melts, we sell delicious organic loose-leaf teas for your health and vitality.

We also have an array of reusable period care options that are better for your body and the earth! Take a look at our products to better understand our comprehensive view of women’s wellness.

Q: When will your products be back in stock?

A: Due to popular demand, items may go out of stock, but they typically will become available again in just a couple of weeks. Anytime this happens, be sure to sign up for restock notifications on the product page to receive an email as soon as your favorites restock for purchase. Be the first to know so you don't miss out!
